Original model:
Ensures more efficient, better targeted use of grants and investment dollars, helping to ensure dollars and resources reach the communities that need them the most.
My suggestion:

Seconding the feedback
If paid members want the World Board to consider an amendment, a second member should support it. This is done by writing "I support this feedback" as a reply to the original amendment.
This feedback forum is open until 3 May 2026. Afterwards, the World Board will review the recommendations.
If you have questions on this process, feel free to write them as a reply here, and we will address them.

The World Board presents this proposal as its consolidated governance reform option for decision by the extraordinary General Assembly in June 2026. It draws inspiration from the work of the Governance Advisory Board and the two options the GAB developed — Option 1 (incremental changes) and Option 2 (federated subsidiarity model) — without adopting either in full.

The World Board proposes a comprehensive restructure of its composition. Additionally, it submits one alternative motion that considers the GAB's proposal.
The World Board Composition has two mutually exclusive motions. While members will vote on both motions, they are mutually exclusive. Members should therefore reject the motion they do not support or may abstain from voting on that motion.
Motion 1a. World Board composition
Motion 1b. World Board Composition Diversity Criteria
Amends the Statutes and working procedures of IFOAM – Organics International to change the composition of the World Board, and reflect the federated nature of the organisation, balancing regional representation.
The World Board proposes the creation of a new formal organ of the Federation, offering RBs, thematic groups, and constituencies a structured voice. This consolidated Council model is close to GAB’s proposed option 2, and it strengthens and clarifies the potential gap in that model.
Motion 2. Establishes the Council as a fourth organ of the Federation, defines the Council's co-decision rights on major content positions
These can be adopted regardless of how the GA votes on Motions 1a, 1b, or 2.
Motion 3. Seeks Subsidiarity in regional representation and defines the engagement and alignment with Thematic and Constituency Groups
Motion 4. Defines the formal typology distinguishing Constituency from Thematic Groups.
Motion 5. Proposes the continental rotation of the Organic World Congress.
Motion 6. Redefines the Force majeure scenario for the Organic World Congress.
Motion 7. Confirms the validity of the “One Membership”.
Motion 8. Creates an Organic Scientific Expert Panel.
